flightoficarus (Metal Trenches) Locotus seem to have risen out of some forgotten time capsule from the late 90's/early 00's. They're a band that still worships the groove-ridden riffs and hip-hop inspired vocals of early Deftones, Machine Head, Shadows Fall, and Soulfly. I felt so vindicated when perusing their bandcamp page after coming up with that list, as many of those influences are right in the band's bio. If you're a child out of this time like I am, you should give Through Flames Arise a listen.
